Rob says: After the very successful first Chelchele lot we bought in 2019 - our favourite washed Ethiopian coffee last year, we go back to back and bring this exciting dry-processed lot from the same producers.

The Chelchele washing station, which is in the kebele, or village, of Chelchele, in the words, or district, of Kochere, in the Yirgacheffe region. Chelchele coffees tend to have a nice backbone of sweetness from toffee and/or soft nuts like almond, with a floral and citrus overtone.

From all Ethiopian coffee regions we see Yirgacheffe as the most floral and tea-like. It was first offered at Caffenation in our opening year in 2003 and going strong ever since!
