Rob says: Rosy Gabriela Amaya’s passion for coffee is contagious. She grew up in a ranching family that also produced coffee and has been driven to produce high-quality, certified coffee ever since.

Remarkable how many of our preferred coffees this year are processing by women. Is this a trend? For sure it was known that women in Latin America already did the majority of work in the field and at the coffee stations, while men doing more the ‘business side’ of the job, and therefor taking most of the earnings. We can hope for a better gender equity in the future and see Rosy as a role model for other female coffee entrepreneurs.
