Rob Says: Some things just happen. While fanatically searching for a true knock out Brazilian Natural to fill our the 2021 Brazil IAN turquoise colored bags, we stumble upon this coffee from a region we never prospected from, but what a pleasantly surprise the ALTO MOGIANA is! Like the ideal coffee to round off this years Brazil IAN coffee range.
Alta Mogiana is the name given to a selection of highest-quality coffees from a small group of producers in the Mogiana coffee-growing region of Brazil. The region itself takes its name from the railway system, Railways Mogiana Company, which was built in 1872 in order to transport the huge volumes of coffee that were being grown in the area. The harvest on these coffees is primarily done mechanically, with a quality sort after harvest and before drying.
