Mr LGB Coffee City Series-AMSTERDAM - Roast Date 30 September 2024

Amsterdam is a standout city for specialty coffee, with a vibrant scene featuring numerous unique cafes. Meanwhile CAFFENATION AMSTERDAM, located at the corner of Warmondstraat and Theophile de Bockstraat, has been a key player in this community for almost nine years. Celebrating this scene through the Mister LGB City Series is a great way to acknowledge the diversity and quality of coffee experiences that Amsterdam has to offer.

The Amsterdam Blend is a combination of these two washed in-season coffees:

Ethiopia Jimma NANO CHALLA

NANO CHALLA is a timeless favorite in our lineup, consistently standing out for its quality. Sourced from the Jimma/Limu region, which can be unpredictable in terms of coffee quality, this particular lot was the only one to excel through multiple cupping sessions this harvest, earning 88,25 points. Although it has scored even higher in the past, it remains an exceptional base for Mister LGB. Nano Challa is known for its vibrant acidity and floral undertones, which pair beautifully with all types of milk.

Honduras Pozo Negro EL PINITO

FINCA EL PINITO is a beautiful returning coffee from Central America. Anyi Abigiail Gomez, owner of El Pinito, is only 20 and a very ambitious farmer focused on Specialty Coffee. Anyi has ten pickers to help her during harvest, including family members. The cherries are picked when ripe and transported by mule to the beneficio. This coffee is smooth as butter and blends perfectly with our African counter part.
