Rob says: Goyo Recinos is a second generation coffee farmer who lives with his wife Marlyn and 5 kids in the La Libertad area of Huehuetenango. Goyo was 24 years old when he inherited his portion of the land and also purchased more land parcels in the same area to grow the LOS ARROLLOS farm since then. He’s proud to carry on his dad’s legacy.
The high elevation, combined with the Caturra, Catuai, and Bourbon varieties grown on the farm, imparts unique characteristics to the coffee. The carefully cultivated slopes and strategic placement of four satellite wet mills contribute to the meticulous production process.
