ATTENTION: Due to an unforeseen defect alert on our Burundi Heza Hills component we are due to change the content of this blend. We delete the Burundi and replace it with a Colombian coffee maintaining a comparable taste and price.

In our Coffee City Series, we visit one of the USA’s most famous West Coast coffee hubs: SAN FRANCISCO. Known as one of the “best coffee cities,” it also boasts prices to match. It was here in the late ’60s that Alfred Peet, the godfather of modern coffee, made his mark. Since then, coffee has remained central to the city, home to many renowned roasters and specialized bars. For Caffenation, San Francisco was where we honed our roasting skills in 2010 under the guidance of grand master Willem Boot.

This blend combines two fruity and clean washed coffees: Colombia JUAN JIMENEZ and Ethiopia GEDEB.

JUAN JIMENEZ is a well known farmer in Palestina Huila. Huila is the most classic place for Specialty Coffee in Colombia and the home for fruity, clean coffees.

The GEDEB region in Yirgacheffe is known for producing unique and flavorful coffees. Factors such as altitude, climate, soil composition, and the meticulous processing techniques employed by the producers can all contribute to the distinctive flavors that come through in the cup.
