A farm managed by this third-generation coffee grower. He inherited 100 coffee trees from his father at the young age of 9. After learning to harvest and care for the trees, Luis Anibal decided to work as a picker on several farms, around his native region in Huila.

Quality coffee production has brought the Calderón family the financial stability they needed to prosper, and to build a home for four children and other family members who also work on the farm. This has only been possible because of Luis Anibal’s passion for coffee and his constant dedication. His dream, after all, was to live a debt-free life that revolved around coffee.
